Red Roses re-sign for Bristol Bears

Bristol Bears have handed new contracts to four of their England stars.

The Red Rose quartet of Amber Reed, Sarah Bern, Clara Nielson and Rownita Marston have all extended their stay at the Premier 15s side.

Having the opportunity to train alongside Bristol's Premiership stars was key for Bern to sign a new deal. “It’ll be great to continue our work with the men’s side for my personal development goals," the prop told the club's website.

"I love being a part of Bristol Sport and the community it brings with the other clubs involved."

Reed added: “There are ambitious plans ahead and it’s an exciting opportunity for me to be part of something special here in the West Country and help contribute towards my childhood club.”
