Transfer News: Brighton bring in AC Milan star

Brighton have brought in Finland international Nora Heroum from AC Milan on a one-year deal.

The midfielder is manager Hope Powell's third summer signing ahead of the new Women's Super League season, joining Charlton goalkeeper Katie Startup and Bristol City striker Katie Robinson.

"She has played at the top level in what is a really strong domestic set-up in Italy for three seasons," said former England manager Powell.

"She is very composed on the ball, has lots of energy and she can get forward and score goals."

Heroum is only 25 but has won the league title in three different countries - Italy, Denmark and her native Finland.
