Transfer News: Czech star checks in at West Ham

West Ham have completed the signing of Czech Republic star Katerina Svitkova.

The striker joins from Slavia Prague having won five league titles and two Czech cups during her seven seasons at the club.

That kind of trophy-winning form is what attracted West Ham manager Matt Beard. “I’m really excited to work with Katerina,” he said.

“She’s going to be a great addition - she creates and scores goals, and she’s got a fantastic work-ethic.”
