FA commit to interviewing BAME candidate for England job

The Football Association will interview at least one candidate from a black, Asian and minority ethnic background for the role of England manager, according to The Times.

They have received 142 applications to replace Phil Neville, who is stepping down next summer before Euro 2021 and the Tokyo Olympics.

The FA have said they will shortlist at least one BAME candidate for every England coaching role going forward, as long as they have the relevant qualifications.
