December finish for Women's Six Nations

The 2020 Women's Six Nations Championship will finish on 5 December, more than 10 months since the campaign started in early February.

Five of the six remaining fixtures will be played in October but Italy's match against Scotland has been scheduled for the final weekend of the extended international window in December.

Scotland will face France and Ireland take on Italy on 24 October before England get the opportunity to complete the Grand Slam when they travel to Italy on 31 October. Wales versus Scotland and France against Ireland are the other Halloween fixtures.

No venues or times have been confirmed for the matches yet. "We remain in close contact with all relevant authorities across the respective jurisdictions to ensure these matches take place in a safe environment and we will announce further details of health and safety protocols and guidance on spectator attendance in due course," the Six Nations said in a statement.
