Women's Super League Round-Up: Reading & West Ham

With clubs back in training and the new season approaching, Women's Sport Daily rounds up the latest news from the Women's Super League:

Reading

Reading have signed experienced keeper Erin Nayler from Bordeaux on an undisclosed contract.

The New Zealand international represented her country at the 2016 Olympics and 2019 World Cup.

Reading open their WSL campaign against Arsenal on the weekend of 5/6 September.

West Ham

Ruby Grant has impressed West Ham boss Matt Beard enough during a spell training with the club to be offered a short-term contract.

The England Under-17 striker left Arsenal to move to college football in the USA but was forced to stay in the country due to the Covid-19 crisis.

"Due to the pandemic, Ruby has been training with us and I have been really impressed," Beard told the club's website. "She is a great addition to the squad."
