Spurs to sign Alex Morgan in biggest transatlantic move so far

Tottenham are on the verge of the sensational signing of superstar Alex Morgan as the wave of arrivals from America continues in the Women's Super League.

Morgan has been without a club since having her first child in May and is understood to have agreed a short-term deal until the end of December.

The striker will join fellow World Cup winners Tobin Heath, Christen Press, Rose Levelle and Sam Mewis in the WSL whilst a wealth of home-grown talent has also returned from the States, including Rachel Daly and Jess Fishlock.

Morgan was most recently at Orlando Pride and won the Women's Champions League during a loan spell at Lyon in 2017.
