Lee holds nerve for maiden major victory at the ANA Inspiration

Mirim Lee won her first major title after winning a three-way play-off at the ANA Inspiration.

The South Korean's final-round 67 saw her catch leaders Nelly Korda and Brook Henderson as they all finished on 15 under par.

Korda had led from the first round but missed a putt to win outright on the 18th. Lee then birdied the first hole of the play-off to clinch the title.

Her previous best result in a major was tied for second at the Women's Open in 2016.

England's Mel Reid finished in a tie for seventh place on nine under, her best ever result at the second major of the year.
