Coronavirus hits Lionesses squad during training week

Manchester United's Katie Zelem has withdrawn from England's training camp at St. George's Park after testing positive for coronavirus.

The uncapped United captain, who will not be replaced in the squad, will now have to self-isolate for 10 days.

However, manager Phil Neville has called up Everton's Izzy Christiansen for the first time since March 2019 following the withdrawal of Lucy Bronze who picked up an injury in Manchester City's draw with Brighton last weekend.

England will remain in camp until 21 September before meeting up again for a friendly against Germany in Wiesbaden on 27 October.
