More COVID cancellations hit Allianz Premier 15s schedule
DMP Durham Sharks' match against Sale Sharks is the latest Allianz Premier 15s fixture to be postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak.
Three members of the DMP squad have tested positive for COVID-19, with several others forced to self-isolate as close contacts, giving the Rugby Football Union no choice but to call off Saturday's game.
Earlier in the week it was confirmed Saracens' next two fixtures, against Exeter and league leaders Harlequins, would also need to be rearranged because of similar issues of player availability due to illness and injury.
The postponement was a particular blow to Harlequins, who had already put 2,000 tickets on sale for the game against Saracens at the Stoop, hoping to attract a first crowd for a women's game since the Six Nations clash between England and France in March.
