The Women’s Super League is back on the football menu this weekend and more twists in the title race are virtually guaranteed.

Manchester United are third and three points behind leaders Chelsea, and the Red Devils host Aston Villa on Saturday lunchtime. More than 36,000 tickets have already been sold and United are on high after moving level on points with Arsenal following their 3-2 win at the Emirates in the last outing.

Manager Marc Skinner told the BBC: "It's about us taking charge of momentum, it's not something given to us, we have to create it. Regardless of how long ago the Arsenal game was, we have to take that quality into this game too."

Three points for United are particularly important, as Chelsea will be overwhelming favourites to secure victory at bottom club Leicester City, who have lost all eight fixtures this season.

Arsenal welcome Everton and are boosted by the return from injury of England captain Leah Williamson, although this will be the first game for the Gunners since star forward Beth Mead picked up the serious knee injury that has ended her season.

Lingering in fourth are in-form Manchester City, who will be looking to make it eight consecutive wins in all competitions when they take of Brighton.
