Sport clearly runs in the family when it comes to Team Zola.
Chelsea and Italy legend Gianfranco Zola was one of the great players of the Premier League era, a midfielder blessed with extraordinary natural talent and creativity.
Passing on those sporting genes, Gianfranco’s daughter Martina Zola is now making her mark in a very different world to that of pro football.
Martina made her professional martial arts debut on Polaris and was victorious in a fascinating bout with Rosie Clarke, who recently appeared on the TV show ‘SAS Who Dares Wins’.
Zola has been training out of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in London and has competed as an amateur for the past few years.
