Battle of the Brits Day 6 Review: Boulter, Burrage and Watson lead the way for Union Jacks

Victories for Katie Boulter and Jodie Burrage in the women's singles and a superb performance from Heather Watson in the mixed doubles helped the Union Jacks team draw level with the British Bulldogs for the first time since Monday in the Battle of the Brits Team Tennis competition.

Boulter (pictured) smashed Beth Grey 6-1, 6-1 while Burrage continued her good run of form with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-7 win over Emma Raducanu.

Watson combined with tournament organiser Jamie Murray for a thrilling three-set victory against Harriet Dart and Liam Broady 6-3, 3-6, 17-15.

Dart and Grey did manage a rare highlight for the Bulldogs team, beating Alicia Barnett and Olivia Nicholls 6-2, 6-2 in the women's doubles.

The contest is poised at 45-45 with 29 points available on the final day. The first team to 60 points will be the overall winner.
