The Rugby Football Union wants to bring the women's Rugby World Cup to England in 2025.

According to The Times, the RFU has committed to making a bid for the event, having successfully hosted the men's World Cup in 2015. The 2021 Rugby World Cup will be held in New Zealand in September and October.

World Rugby has announced a decision on the destination for the next two men's and women's tournaments will be made in 2022.

England last held the event in 2010 and were winners in 1994 and 2014. The Red Roses were also runners-up to New Zealand in the last World Cup in Ireland in 2017.
