England to tour Pakistan for the first time in October

England will play two Twenty20 internationals and a three-match one-day series against Pakistan in October 2021 after confirming a first-ever trip to the country.

The T20 matches will be part of a double header series with the England men's team who will also be in Pakistan for their first tour in 16 years.

The women will then stay in Karachi for the three one-day internationals. "This is another important step in our history and journey," said ECB managing director of women's cricket Clare Connor.

"Not only will this be a cricket tour that provides valuable competitive opportunity, it should also serve as another powerful message as we drive forward our equality ambitions for more women and girls to derive empowerment through the sport."
