Netball World Youth Cup is just one week away
It’s just over a week until the Netball World Youth Cup (NWYC) gets under way on 19th September. The competition, which takes place in Gibraltar and runs to 28th September, brings together the world’s top 20 under-21s teams.
This will be the ninth iteration of the NWYC with the inaugural tournament being held in Australia in 1988. New Zealand and Australia have dominated the competition, winning four each of the previous eight finals.
Looking at the prospects for the home nations, in the group stages of the forthcoming tournament, England and Wales find themselves in the same group but have avoided Australia and New Zealand. Scotland are not so fortunate and face Australia in Group B.
Fans will be able to catch all the action on line. World Netball announced earlier this month that all NWYC 2025 games would be available to watch live and on demand on Netball Pass and the Netball World Cup You Tube Channel.
I am thrilled that we are able to stream every match of the Netball World Youth Cup 2025 live and on demand, but most importantly for free, across both NetballPass and our YouTube channel. It was very important to us that we gave this next generation of players a global platform, with the largest reach possible, to showcase their talent, work ethic and personalities.
