Women's doubles players investigated for match fixing at the French Open

Paris prosecutors have confirmed they are investigating allegations of match fixing during a women's doubles match at the French Open.

According to BBC Sport, the focus of the enquiry is believed to be the first round tie between the Romanian pair of Andreea Mitu and Patricia Maria Tig who defeated Russia's Yana Sizikova and the American Madison Brengle 7-6 6-4.

Plans to play in front of fans at French Open

Organisers of the rescheduled French Open have revealled plans to play in front of socially distanced crowds when the event takes place in September.

There are hopes up to 60% of fans will be able to attend, the equivalent of 20,000 a day. Groups of four will be able to sit together with an empty seat between those groups.
