England to use Derby training base for South Africa series

England will be based in Derby for the forthcoming series against South Africa, assuming the tour goes ahead.

India, who were due to play England and South Africa in a tri-series later in the summer, were forced to cancel their expected trip to England because of the continuing coronavirus crisis.

According to BBC Sport, England will use a bio-secure training camp at the Incora County Ground in Derby ahead of the September series against the Proteas, although the ECB are yet to confirm any dates for the matches.

The Pakistan men's team have been using the same facilities to prepare for their Test series against England later in the summer.
