Aston Villa and Sheffield United share Championship awards

Promoted Aston Villa and Sheffield United split the four prizes between them at the FA Women’s Championship End-of-Season Awards.

Blades striker Katie Wilkinson claimed two of the awards after being named Player of the Season and picking up the Golden Boot thanks to her 15 goals in 14 games during the curtailed campaign.

Having led her side to promotion to the Women's Super League, Villa head coach Gemma Davies was named Championship Manager of the Season.

The Golden Glove award went to the Villa keeper Sian Rogers. The new Championship season will start on the weekend of 5/6 September.
