England secure clean sweep in Legends Series against the Superleague All Stars

The Vitality Roses ran out 55-43 winners against the Superleague All Stars in the third and final match of the Legends Series for a 3-0 clean sweep.

Having been hastily assembled following the cancellation of Jamaica's tour of England, the All Stars side put in arguably their best performance of the series in the final game. Desptite trailing 21-26 at half-time, the All Stars won the second quarter and put further pressure on England as the match reached the final quarter. But the Roses were able to hold on for victory.

England coach Jess Thirlby said: "[We were] just far too sloppy in quarter two and then a great response when we came out after half-time. All Stars had us in quarters two and four and we were just far too sloppy, too many errors."
