Battle of the Brits Day 5 Review: Burrage and Watson win again

Jodie Burrage and Heather Watson again showed they are in fine form at the Battle of the Brits Team Tennis event with further victories in the women's singles.

Burrage (pictured) beat Beth Grey 7-5, 6-0 while Watson won her fourth straight match, losing just one game on the way to a 6-1, 6-0 defeat of Maia Lumsden.

Battle of the Brits Day 4 Review: wins for Watson and Burrage help Jacks fight back

Heather Watson and Jodie Burrage were both winners on Day 4 of the Battle of the Brits Team Tennis event in London.

Watson was in dominant form against teenager Emma Raducanu, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-4.

Burrage had to work hard but eventually overcame Harriet Dart 5-7, 6-4, 10-6.

Konta finds form but Burrage and Murray lose at Battle of the Brits

Johanna Konta recovered from her defeat to Jodie Burrage on the opening day of the Battle of the Brits Team Tennis event to win her second singles match, beating Katie Boulter 2-6 7-6 10-6.

Maia Lumsden was the winner of Day 2's only other women's singles contest with a 5-7 6-4 10-7 victory over Alicia Barnett.

Jodie Burrage was the big winner on the opening day of the Battle of the Brits Team Tennis tournament, beating British No.1 Johanna Konta 6-4 6-3.
